Overview
Assist with cleaning and restocking at The Salvation Army Women’s & Children’s Shelter.
Primary Responsibilities
Tidy: Assisting with cleaning needs of the shelter.
Restocking: assist with restocking of products, rearranging hygiene closet, janitors closet, and/or kitchen pantry.

9am-2pm, excluding holidays.

Dress Code

Closed-toe shoes; comfortable, family-friendly attire.
Qualifications
-
Warm, patient, and kid-friendly; able to follow staff direction.

Age: 16+ (minors must serve with a parent/guardian).

Maintain safe boundaries and trauma-informed, non-judgmental care.

Comfortable standing/walking for up to 2 hours (accommodations available).
Comfortable with cleaning, washing/drying linens, and folding of linens

Training & Check-In

Kiosk Check-In: Sign in/out on arrival at the Iserv Volunteer tablet kiosk.

Orientation: On-site briefing covers roles, schedule, safety, and emergency procedures.

Safe From Harm Training required if you're an ongoing Volunteer

Photos of residents/children allowed only with permission. All photos must be updated to Staff-provided link for approval of use on official company websites & social media only. Not allowed on personal websites or personal social media accounts.
Report spills, breaks, or concerns to staff immediately.
