Volunteer: Facility Care and Hospitality Volunteer (Individual)

Overview

“The Facility Care & Hospitality Volunteer" 

plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, clean, and dignified environment for all who enter our facilities. Volunteers in this role assist with essential upkeep tasks such as picking up litter, wiping down tables, maintaining clean restrooms, and performing light cleaning duties to ensure a safe and comfortable space for guests, clients, residents and staff.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on service, take pride in cleanliness, and want to support our mission through behind-the-scenes acts of care and stewardship.

 This opportunity is available on Monday-Friday only. 

Primary Responsibilities

o   Collecting and disposing of trash around the facilities grounds

o   Wiping and sanitizing tables and high-touch surfaces

o   Cleaning and restocking restrooms as needed

o   Light sweeping, mopping, dusting and/or tidying of common areas

o   Pulling weeds and trimming overgrowth.

o   Supporting special events with basic cleaning or maintenance needs


Attire & Requirements

Closed-toe shoes (non-slip highly recommended)Modest, comfortable clothing suitable for indoor/outdoor work with no slogans/graphics, promotions, etc. on your attire.Positive, respectful, and a make-it-happen attitude
